Forged H-Beam — AMG M177 / M178

High-strength forged connecting rods engineered for Aston Martin and Mercedes-AMG 4.0 L twin-turbo V8 platforms (M177 wet-sump / M178 dry-sump). Developed to withstand extreme cylinder pressures, torsional loads and high RPM, while maintaining precise balance across all eight rods.

Construction & materials

  • Forged from 4340 aerospace-grade steel, fully machined and shot-peened.
  • H-beam design for optimum strength-to-weight ratio.
  • Equipped with ARP2000 bolts for extreme boost.
  • Weight-optimized with end-to-end balance tolerance of ±1 g per set.
